More humiliation in store for R-Patz
If 'Twilight' stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart thought they’d be able to work through their relationship troubles in their own time, they have another thing coming.
‘Breaking Dawn: Part 2’, to be exact, where the former couple will be called upon to undertake promotional duties in the run-up to the blockbuster release. There can be little doubt as to the questions most interviewers would like to pose to this troubled celebrity pairing.
In a statement to Entertainment Weekly, Summit’s president of worldwide marketing, Nancy Kirkpatrick preferred to focus on the merits of the film, rather than the personal issues surrounding its stars.
“While it is studio policy not to comment on the personal lives of actors, Summit is moving full steam ahead and looking forward to this November’s opening of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2’.”
“We are confident that the film delivers amazing entertainment for our passionate fans and general audience alike.”
However, according to the Daily Mail, Pattinson is understandably dreading the promotional tour.
He and Stewart are expected to attend two premiere’s together and do joint interviews.
Influential gossip blogger Perez Hilton says the situation is humiliating for Pattinson.
“He is in pieces, but the Twilight love triangle storyline is nothing without him and Kristen,” Hilton quotes an insider as saying.
“It is eating him up that he has no choice but to see her again because of work. His humiliation is total.”
Meanwhile, Pattinson and Stewart are reportedly talking again, even though it is unlikely that Pattinson will ever forgive her. Pattinson, it is claimed, is staying at Reese Witherspoon’s ranch in California.
According to a People magazine source, Pattinson wants more details about Stewart’s fling with Rupert Sanders, and may even call on Sanders’ wife to get the information he wants. Ultimately, the depth of Stewart’s deception doesn’t matter as much as the fact that she cheated on him.
“Rob just isn’t going to be able to get beyond the cheating – one time or not,” said the source. - IOL
