JSE touches new all-time high

South Africa's All-share index touched a fresh all-time high of 40,070.53 on Thursday.

The index, the broadest measure of Johannesburg stock performance topped 40,000 for the first time in its 17-year history on Wednesday, rising more than 2 percent after the US fiscal deal sparked a global equity rally. - Reuters
